Okay - so after we got Jordan and we shaved her - next step was to check her health. Actually it was very good - considering that she had been sitting in a dirty shelter for 6 weeks. She was heartworm negative, and had 6 puppies waiting to be born any day. She only had one flea - but did have tapeworms - which we couldn't treat due to the impending birth. She was just skin and bone and babies..... you could watch her sides and see the puppies moving!
So I set up a little nursery in my new laundry room. Put in a little kiddie pool and got a bunch of newpapers and towels and waited.....and waited and waited....
Finally Jordan decided that Saturday night would be the night! So here is the rest of the story.
